"You are in love with intelligence, until it frightens you. For your ideas are terrifying and your hearts are faint. Your acts of pity and cruelty are absurd, committed with no calm, as if they were irresistible. Finally, you fear blood more and more. Blood and time."

Hey! Is that one bound for Detroit, by chance? :-)
Neat. I've tried to make a hawk by folding an old file around a couple of times, but I've never gotten a good weld.
Maybe this summer I can take some time to do a little every day and get back into practice.
Probably not.
So that's how they did it three hundred years ago? They made a hammer first and then converted it into an ax?
;-)
Sorry Steve,
But, the Motown one was every bit as hot and ugly at the appropriate times.
They did it this way three hundred years ago? Sure.
What else would they have used for raw material? Trees?
Nope, the plethora of ball-peen hammer-heads, inexplicably scattered about the American landscape, made the hawk industry flourish.
No one knew where they came from... aliens?
In any case, it was a great leap forward.
prior to this, hawks had been molded out of Twizzlers, the black ones.
Whoa... and people say you make ugly stuff? They should see this!
