Don't Get Too Optimistic

A "trailing" economic indicator:

21% of the world's commercial, shipping fleet - a number of ships equivalent to the navies of the US and UK combined, with a greater amount of tonnage - are just chillin' off the tip of Malaysia.

As Kent Brockman once said; "It's not just philosophy majors anymore. Even useful people [insert - container ships, bulk carriers and oil tankers] are feeling the sting of unemployment".
